We make every effort to match up cat and adopter based on personality, household activity, and expectations - because we want you and your new feline companion to live a long and treasured life with each other.

We require a completed application with 2 personal references and a veterinary reference. All cats are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia, feline aids (FIV), feline Bartonella, heartworm, vaccinated for distemper, upper respiratory diseases and rabies and treated for intestinal parasites. Adoptions require an appointment so please call first and we will provide you with directions. After your visit to the shelter please allow 24 hours while we contact references prior to the actual adoption. This will also give you time to prepare your home and acquire the necessary items to accommodate your new feline.

We will discuss food choices and litter that the cat is accustomed to to make a smooth transition from shelter to home.

Adoption donations are $165 (as of 04/01/2017). Our shelter runs on donations, so this fee is vital to the continuation of our work. Our cats have received all basic medical care and, in some cases, extensive veterinary care to address more serious injuries or health issues.  All cats must be transported in a secure cat carrier.  Get the pdf
